LAS VEGAS, NV – April 17, 2009 – The MCFFU has relocated Las Vegas 8v8 Eligible, Women, Co-Ed, 7v7 Screen and 5v5 World Championships to All-American Park and Buckskin Basin Park to provide competing teams with a premier playing facility just minutes from the Las Vegas strip!  The Las Vegas World Championships will feature the 1st Annual Super Series in conjunction with the World Championships....

The Miami WC will coincide with the Las Vegas WC in March...

ENTRY FEES:

8v8 Eligible (Pro) - $595 + (ref fees)

8v8 Eligible (Competitive) - $495 + (ref fees)

8v8 Eligible (Rec) - $495 + (ref fees)

5v5 (Pro) - $275 + (ref fees)

5v5 (Open) - $250 + (ref fees)

Women Eligible (Open) -$595

Women Screen (Open) - $595

Co-Ed (Open) - $595

NOTE: Ref fees are $45 per game for all styles and $15 per game for 5v5

NOTE: Teams wishing to play multiple styles will receive a discount; please inform us of the 2 styles ASAP

 

DEADLINES:

1st Deadline - March 1, 2010

(if paid prior $50 deducted off of the entry fee)

2nd Deadline - March 15, 2010

(if paid AFTER this date $50 will be added to your entry fee)

Final Deadline - March 22, 2010

(no entries will be taken following this deadline)

NOTE: Prizes will be adjusted per style based on total number of registered teams - Cash prizes will be divided for 1st and 2nd place - 1st (80%) - 2nd (20%)

 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

World Championship format - Guaranteed 3 games (Pool Play) - Single Elimination following the Pool Play

NOTE: Pro Divisions will have a percentage of teams to advance to the single elimination rounds on Sunday (Ex. 10 out of 16 will advance - numbers will adjust according to total team entry)

COMPETITION NOTES:

The World Championships in Las Vegas, March 26-28, 2010 will feature 9-Man Ineligible (Super Series), 8-Man Eligible Contact, Women, Co-Ed, 7v7 Screen, 5-Man and 4-Man.  This the 2nd of a 2-legged World Championship Series, with the 1st leg held each year on MLK Weekend (January) in Miami, FL.

The Miami World Championships will feature 9v9/8v8 Ineligible World Championships.  In conjunction, there will be the 8v8, 7v7, Women and 4v4 So. Atlantic National Championships.  These styles will receive points, seeding and bids to the Las Vegas World Championships the following March....

THE SUPER SERIES:

9v9 Ineligible State teams representing their state with the best athletes that are recruited within one state for (1) team. 16 teams, representing 16 states (more details)

8-man eligible pro division:

The 8-Man Eligible PRO Division, will be an INVITED ONLY division as the top 16 - 20 teams in the nation will receive personal invites from the MCFFU/USSSA to participate in the WC 8-Man Pro Division based on past and present national competition!  All other divisions are open to all interested teams

Tournament sETUP:

The Las Vegas World Championships will be a Pool Play Format rounding off in a single elimination round on Sunday.

Some styles may begin on Friday, continued on Saturday with the top teams from each style/division advancing to "Championship Sunday".

There will be a 3 game guarantee for all styles competing....
