The Flag Football Super Series - Kansas City, MO 2013

OBJECTIVES OF THIS EVENT:
Understandably, it is difficult for teams to commit to multiple large events each year. Furthermore, because there are several national traditional events that teams regularly commit to, the Super 8 Series was structured to not conflict with those dates, as well as provide top teams in each region an opportunity to compete locally and regionally to have a chance to compete against the games best in 8v8 Eligible Contact once a year!
The team qualifying amount was reduced to 8 to ensure quality play over quantity, as well as to provide the most competitive environment possible! As this event grows, other spots maybe added to expand the pool.
Other objectives include:
Get the top 8v8 Eligible teams together for annual event to see who is the years best team
Qualify teams based on yearly performance in competitive 8v8 events
Provide "TRUE" game times in a competitive football atmosphere
To promote flag football as a true “Competitive Amateur Sport”
Attract national media exposure annually
Create the highest-level of flag football competition possible for 8v8 Eligible
Assist teams with travel expense through the annual circuit; easier to achieve with fewer teams
Allow teams to earn berths and bids to compete
