4th Annual" Saint Patrick's Day 9-Man Tournament

The Cannoneers (NY) made an early prediction that they, not the World Champion Packers (MD) or Runner-ups Real Deal (NJ) would win the 4th Annual St. Patrick's Day Tournament in Queens, New York this past weekend.  Often viewed as past their prime, the Cannoneers made a statement to the 9-Man community that they can not only still compete will 9-Man's best, but they can be a contender in the World Championships 2010.

After falling to the Packers on Saturday in pool play, the Cannoneers rebounded and won 4 straight on Sunday, including wins over Raiders (NJ), Young Gunz (CT), Omni Fitness (NY) and defeating another early favorite Free The Fan in a nail-bitter 7-6.

The Cannoneers jump inot 2nd place in the 9-Man National Rankings behind ATL Super Stars iwth a 5-1 record and 300 pts, trailing ATL only by point differential.
