Protection for Participant, Facility and Yourself

MCFFU underwrites liability insurance for facilities, major medical for coaches and youth players, and personal liability insurance for league owners, staff and volunteers.  In today's lawsuit environment, you need to protect yourself as a league owner. Allow the MCFFU to protect your league/tournament!

 

 

Procedures for Hosting Tournaments by Organizations: 

Persons or organizations wishing to host a MCFFU tournament must be in good standing with the MCFFU and the USA Flag Football Circuit as well as part of an established league or recrational organization. 

Request must be made to the MCFFU via the on-line form (REGISTER HERE) - The response from the MCFFU could take up to 48 hours for approval or denial - If denied, a detailed explanation will be provided.

Dates of the tournament must be approved by the MCFFU office before an agreement can be forwarded to you. 

The MCFFU tournament agreement form must be completed and submitted to the MCFFU office to be approved. (60 days prior to the event) 

Fields and permits must be secured, signed and faxed and/or mailed to the MCFFU office. (60 days prior to the event) 

All sanctioning fees, tournament insurance, tournament equipment rentals, Cash Credit and/or bids given as a prize at any tournament to be used for any future MCFFU must be paid to the MCFFU office immediately upon approval in order to have the tournament scheduled and/or posted on any MCFFU, e-mails, message boards, blogs or newsletters. 

The “Official” MCFFU Tournament Checklist must be completed and submitted 30 days prior to the start of the event. 

All sanctioning and team fees owed to the MCFFU must be submitted to the office within 24 hours of the completion of the event.

Package must be requested from the MCFFU office by e-mailing the MCFFU at mcffu@mcffu.com

 

 

Some of the most important rules and regulations are:

Club / Teams must be registered on-line ($25 annual registration fee paid) and in good standing with the MCFFU.

Teams entering must comply with all team registration policies set forth by the MCFFU including and not limited to; on-line registration and on-line team rosters.

Only properly registered teams in good standing shall be permitted to participate.

The MCFFU shall not be held responsible for any emergency medical or injury expenses incurred by an athlete, sponsor, excessive, volunteer or representative of any participating club as a result of activities sanctioned. (Team insurance is available through the MCFFU for teams participating in our events, especially contact styles)

The MCFFU does not allow any alcoholic beverages or tobacco products to be used or present at ANY MCFFU event.  Failure to do so will void the liability insurance provided by the sanctioned event and the MCFFU.

The MCFFU shall not be held responsible for any financial losses incurred by the sponsoring league, club, team or individual that are not part of the original signed agreement.

All referees MUST be registered with the MCFFU before being eligible to referee an event sanctioned by the MCFFU.
