New MCFFU 9v9 Divisions:

The 2012 season will be introduce a new divisional breakdown for 9v9 Ineligible.  There will now be (3) Divisions consisting pf PRO - PRO OPEN and OPEN.  Each division is broken down based on frequency of travel, size of linemen (offensive and defensive) and point accumulation.  CLICK HERE for details...

9v9 World Champs - Blue Dogg (PA) - Pro and Lights Out (NY) Pro Open :

Blue Dogg (PA) defeated early favorites Main Event (NY) 14-3 to take the Pro 9v9 World Championship title.  Anthony "White Lightening" Pomo dominated the game scoring a TD and icing the title with a 60 yard put return; earning him both Tourament Offensive and Special Teams MVP.  In the Pro Open division, Lights Out (NY) racked up 150 points, averaging 25 per game and yielding a lowly 7.1 points on defense.  All Tournament MVP Tyrone Landrum was a highlight reel as he post huge plays on offense and special teams.  Lights Out defeated the Metro Dawgs (VA) 17-13. 

New MCFFU League in Maryland 2012:

The MCFFU will be beginning its first USA Circuit League in Maryland beginning Spring 2012.  The league will consist of teams from Northern VA and the Baltimore area who compete on the USA Circuit.  Also, the league will feature a B Division for teams that travel and compete less on the circuit.  Points will be awarded for each season along with schedule options, low entry fees and MCFFU rules.

USA Circuit 9v9 Ineligible 2012 Schedule:

The USA Circuit 9v9 schedule will be released during the World Championships in Tavares, FL.  The schedule includes a couple of significant date changes based on participation, travel costs and timing of the event.

2012 World Championships - Tavares, FL:

The 2012 9v9 Ineligible World Championships have now been moved to Tavares, FL at the Hickory Point Park Complex.  The purpose for the move was due to inadequate field conditions at our previous location.

Northeast National Championships – 650 pts:

The NE Nationals will be held on December 10-11 at the Tibbets Brook Athletic Complex in Yonkers, NY.  This is a 650pt event and will be the final tournament of the 2011 Circuit for the 9man Ineligible.  Styles offered include 9v9 Ineligible, 8v8 Ineligible and 7v7 Touch…

World Championships (Sanford, FL):

The World Championships in Sanford, FL will be held MLK Weekend (January 13-15).  The City of Sanford is working with the MCFFU to offer a possible new location (close to the current fields – The Sylvan Lake Soccer Complex).  Confirmation will be made in November.  All hotels and travel arrangements should remain the same; the new location is extremely close to the current location.  Regardless of the complex, the WC will be in Sanford, FL.  Tournament packages will be released in November.

World Championships (Las Vegas, NV):

The Las Vegas World Championships will be held March 24-25, in Las Vegas, NV @ All-American Park.  There is a possibility that some styles will be playing at the UNLV Sports Complex; details pertaining to this possible change will be known in January 2012. 

8v8 Eligible World Championships (Las Vegas, NV):

New format for the 8v8 Eligible World Championships pertaining to the PRO Division; details regarding the new format will be released in December.

5v5 World Championships (Las Vegas, NV):

The 5v5 Pro World Championships in Las Vegas, NV will be an “Invite Only” event featuring the most competitive 5v5 teams in nation.  The 5v5 WC will be held in Las Vegas next March and will also feature a qualifying circuit beginning in 2012, which is being comprised of participating 5v5 organizations and leagues.  The selection process is based on peer recognition, accomplishments and willingness to compete on the highest level.  Invitations are currently being disbursed and a team list will be made available in January.  Lower divisions will also be offered.  Details forth coming…

Carolina State Championships (Charlotte, NC) – 300 pts:

The Carolina State Championships will be held on December 3-4, 2011 in Charlotte, NC @ the JT Williams School Fields.  Featured styles include 9v9 Ineligible and 7v7 Screen; this will hosted by the MCFFU and the QCFFL.

Texas State Championships (Austin, TX) – 300 pts:

The Texas State Championships will be held in Austin, TX on December 10-11, 2011.  Styles offered include 9v9 Ineligible and Women’s Screen. 

Other State Championships – 300 pts:

Other State Championships, including MD, FL and CT are having the details finalized now and will be released over the next couple of weeks.

Rhode Island 8v8 Ineligible NIT – 300 pts:

The RI 8v8 NIT will be held November 19-20, 2011 and will be the first of several 8v8 Ineligible offered on the 8v8 Ineligible Circuit.  The circuit will include 6-8 NIT’s and conclude with a Championship event Aug/Sept 2012.  Championship location will be in the NE Region.
