Flagmag's Has Legit Reason for False Postintgs......

Let’s first give credit to Flagmag for recognizing and sniffing out a legitimate threat in the Union, because this threat is not of the norm.  Taking teams or invading territories are threats that don’t scare the older national organizations too much.  Sling a little mud and here and there, convince a team or two and the threat is neutralized.

But why does Flagmag continue to post on their site stories about the Union, and the Union only?   Things such as the police having to be called out twice in Vegas for brawls on the fields without ever being there?  (Their response to this question was, “A game stopped with 55 seconds left, means there had to be a brawl.”) …...Crickets…

Truth of the matter is they have every reason to post those stories to corrupt the Union’s image.  They have to prevent the threat of a sudden change of “team and player perception and expectations” regarding National Flag Football Organizations, because should another organization happen to come in and change the expectations of teams and players, it will put them and a few others at an extreme disadvantage.

They cannot afford to have the system restructured and expectations raised by teams and players.  The 80/20 rule is in full effect; 80% of their business comes from 20% of their customers, who are conditioned to play at a certain time each year without expecting much of nothing in return. (Another reason why they have no interest in making an real effort to bring everyone together, because financially they don't need to)

Teams will complain, but sign up next month because there is nowhere else to go.  The last thing they need is for teams and players to start demanding more and disturb that easy money by forcing them go give back more.

The Union is a renegade running free breaking all the rules and they cannot control it, so they will do what ever it takes to shut it down.  It’s all about the bottom line, not the game.  And as long as they appear to be promoting the game of flag football and working in the best interest of teams, teams will continue to follow and accept what’s provided – no questions asked.  However, should that be disrupted in anyway, they would be forced to alter their business practices and they know that we know, they cannot do it.

They are literally stuck with the system they have created.  Change is not an option for the fear of having to admit they’ve done nothing for so long and they damn sure will not work with the Union.  And the more the Union keeps beating them to the punch, the more frustrated they become because they can only watch rather than appear to be following the “U’s” lead.

The fact that the “U” has absolutely nothing to lose makes us the most dangerous threat they’ve had and it allows us to be aggressive and go up top whenever we feel like it, while they have to play conservative and not risk making a costly turnover.

Someone made the comment that we have a long way to go to catch the other organizations – not really, not when the “U” is going in the opposite direction.  So expect more headlines, rumors and lies from them and more aggressive play from the “U”.

U didn't think we knew that did you JZ....
