New Union National Partners

As we enter our third year of operations, the MCFFU has continually worked to strengthen our core by teaming with successful flag football directors and qualified referees to help expand national competition and increase the overall quality of our national tournaments.

We have teamed with new partners to help further develop and promote the MCFFU and assist in exposing and fostering the growth of competitive flag football nationally.

SPORTS X INC. (Screen and Intramural Tournaments)
Sports X Inc, based out of El Paso, TX has now become an official member of the Union and will focus on establishing the MCFFU Screen and Intramural Flag division along with other flag related Union ventures.

Sports X Inc currently offers cash tournaments for screen teams with upwards of $4000 total cash prizes awarded, with events currently held in Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi, Illinois and Texas. SX also hosts High School tournaments, along with QB and speed training camps.

GOLDEN JONES (MCFFU League Director and SE Regional Director)

Golden currently runs and operates the GFFA (Georgia Flag Football Association) and MAFFA (Metro Atlanta Flag Football Association) one the south’s largest flag football leagues consisting of 50+ 8-Man, Screen and Co-Ed will be the MCFFU League and Southeastern Regional Director).

National League development will be Golden’s primary focus as the Union will begin new leagues in select areas across the country.

With the addition of the GFFA organization, the Union now has a presence from the Carolinas to California (SE to SW) with operations in the Midwest, NW and NE currently underway.

Ron Washington (Union Texas Tournament and League Director):

Ron and the HFFL (Houston Flag Football League) have officially become Union partners, providing the Union with even more coverage in southern Texas.  The HFFL will be working to provide more competition to the National Circuit 8-Man Eligible Division as well as to the World Championships giving Texas an even larger pool of teams to compete.

One of the goals of Ron and the HFFL is to help introduce more teams to the national 8-Man eligible contact division, that will compete nationally such as the defending World Champions Houston Sleepers, Dallas Primetime, Scatbacks and others who have converted to contact and done extremely well. 

Ron will also start MCFFU sanctioned leagues in Texas and Louisiana for 8-Man Eligible.
