Happy Birthday Union

As we approach another Birthday for this great country of ours, its only befitting we celebrate the creation of the U!!! July as we all know is the month in which we celebrate Independence Day, and alike from this month forward we’ll commemorate the U’s long deserving freedom from Flag Football captivity. We are finally breaking free from those who desired to keep us in oppression. We the players are branching out to create our own society. We can now exercise free trade (through interstate tournaments) and gain from our own taxation. We can vote to decide our own Union’s destiny instead being forced to live by someone else’s rules. Most important, our former oppressor’s will see our growth and realize the strength it truly had only if it put the betterment of the game in front of its own personal greed.

Yes!!!! Happy Birthday to the U!!!!!! July is our inaugural month in which we set off a series of tournaments that will provide a plethora of competition and award its victors an insurmountable amount of cash. As any great and historical event accomplished in this Country, the question will be asked to you, “where were you when this happened?” Will you be one of the few hundred or so that says “I was in Bakersfield (or DC, Charlotte, Atlanta) making miracles happen”? Or will you be one of those who’ll have nothing to say because you were uncertain about the “U’s” strength and existence?

Me myself, I prefer to make history by participating in the best non-National Tournament to date hosted by the western part of the MCFFU. I prefer to make history instead by participating, competing and God willing, celebrating the U’s inaugural and biggest tournament to date with a victory. I prefer to benefit financially from the “U’s” 401k style tournament payout. I prefer to be one of the teams the media writes about afterward. I prefer to be the team whose pictures you envy while realizing you missed a great opportunity.

I prefer to play a significant role in the Birth of the MCFFU and the long successful life it will enjoy.
