San Gabriel Valley Team Hurt defeated the Carpinteria Chiefs to claim the MCFFU Carpinteria Qualifier. The tournament was played under 80 degree weather and only blocks away from the beach. In the tournaments most exciting game, Team Hurt avenged a shutout in the Bakersfield Spring Tournament on April 17 loss by defeating California's top ranked team Visalia The Show in the semifinals.
Team Hurt earned a paid bid o the Great Bakersfield Summer $10,000 Cash Invitational on July 16-17. Thanks to all the teams that participated in this tournament. See you in Bakersfield on June 11-12 for the 4 and 8 man tournament.
