5 Steps To Register and Play Playing with the MCFFU is an easy 5 step process! Step 1: Determine your team Style & Classification (Age if your team is in the Youth Division)... MCFFU offers flag football for multiple ages, styles and divisions. Once you determine the correct style of your team, it's now time to determine your "level" of classification/competition. To determine your team's "starting point", click here to review MCFFU classification guidelines. Keep in mind that MCFFU will monitor team performance and can reclassify a team at any time during the season.
Step 2: Create your MCFFU/USSSA Login & ID Password... MCFFU team managers are required to create a Login ID & Password for use within the USSSA.com web site. Your ID & Password will be needed to access your team's MCFFU/USSSA web page, to register your team, build your roster, etc. To begin creating your Login & ID Password, click here. HINT - Make sure the "sport" listed above the left menu is "FLAG FOOTBALL". Complete the required fields including an email address and password and click the "SUBMIT" button, you now have your Login ID & Password.
Step 3: Create & Register your team... All MCFFU teams are required to register annually with the Association. A team registration is valid from June 1 - May 31. There are two methods:
The preferred method is the MCFFU/USSSA secure on-line registration with a credit card. (To register your team on-line click here) Enter your Login ID & Password and click the "ENTER" button. You are now at the Team Manager Menu, select the third option at the top, "Create Flag Football Team". You will be required to fill in your Complete Team Name, Team City, Team State and Sport & Class Requested and click the "Submit" button. You have now created your team, but you MUST still register the team. With a credit card, click on the gray button in the yellow box at the top of the screen and enter your credit card information. Once registered, you will see your new team listed on the Team Manager Menu with your Team Registration Number and you will be ready to complete your MCFFU/USSSA On-Line Roster.
Since you have registered your team on-line there is no need to mail a paper registration form to the MCFFU or USSSA. NOTE: Your team will not show up in the list of teams on USSSA.com until the results are entered from the first tournament / event that your team competes in. Once those results are entered your team will be listed along with all other teams that have played during the current season.
Step 4: Completing your On-Line Roster... All MCFFU teams (tournament and / or league) are required to have their MCFFU/USSSA Roster on-line. It's a quick and simple process. To begin building your USSSA On-Line Roster, click here. Enter your Login ID and Password and click the "ENTER" button. You are now at the Team Manager Menu. Make sure your current year team is highlighted and click on the "Roster Adds and Updates" link below the dialog box. Read and agree to the USSSA Roster Manager Affidavit. Follow the directions at the top of the page to enter each player.
HINT - If a player played for you last year, you can transfer him from the list. Once you have built your roster click on the "View Team" button to verify the entered information. Once satisfied, click on the "Printable Roster" button to print your on-line roster; the team Manager must also sign the bottom of the roster. This is now your "Official MCFFU/USSSA On-Line Roster". This is the only official roster that MCFFU will recognize. Make copies of your "Official On-Line Roster" for safe keeping and always have one on hand any time you are playing.
Step 5: Finding a MCFFU Tournament... To view a complete list of all MCFFUUSSSA sanctioned tournaments anywhere in the entire nation, you can visit the MCFFU Official website (www.mcffu.com), the Flag Football World Championship (www.flagfootballwc.com) or the USSSA Official website (www.usssa.com). Keep in mind that ALL MCFFU sanctioned tournaments are listed on the MCFFU National web site regardless of what might be posted on some other website. Qualification to State Tournaments requires each team to participate in at least one MCFFU sanctioned State Qualifier or National event. World Championship Tournament Berths are awarded to teams out of (World Championship Qualifying Tournaments) and State Championship Play. All teams attempting to qualify for World Championship play MUST participate in their State Championship. |
